ONCE UPON A TIME
I was an Accountant... I then found my true calling in the world of hairstyling…
Over the past 20 years, I've honed my skills in hair, makeup, weddings, movies, and theatre, immersing myself in the realm of beauty and creativity.
However, life took an unexpected turn when I developed an allergy to chemicals, leading me to take a 10-year hiatus from the industry. During this time, I embraced motherhood and delved deep into my passion for Health and Nutrition, pursuing studies to become a Holistic Nutritionist. While I thrived in this new chapter of my life, a part of me longed to return to my creative roots

After much contemplation, I realized that my true passion lay in positively impacting others, using hair as my canvas for self-expression
With my health and nutrition education in mind, I embarked on a quest to find salon-exclusive products that align with my values of safety, minimal toxins, and environmental consciousness.
By integrating my passion for holistic health and beauty, I've created a space where every aspect of the experience, from the products used to the atmosphere cultivated, promotes overall well-being and harmony. It was during this period of reflection that the Universe presented me with the opportunity of a lifetime—a studio space where I could merge my love for hair artistry with my desire to create a welcoming and nurturing environment for all.
And thus, Modern Day Maven was born—a sanctuary where beauty, friendship, and connection converge, allowing me to fulfill my purpose of making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
